At some point, being a supportive friend stops meaning “come with me” and starts meaning “please tell me this is a terrible idea.
No one is traveling for free on their dime.

She’ll have plenty of time to pursue new opportunities with her friends, but this is her last chance to pay her respects.
If it has someone else’s name on it, then it’s clearly not yours.
