The Belgian Shepherd breed is highly intelligent and used by the US Secret Service to guard the grounds of the White House. It is also used in Law Enforcement for tasks including: detection of odors such as explosives, accelerants (for arson investigation), and narcotics; and tracking humans for suspect apprehension.
