Savage, cruel, barbaric. These are just a few of the words that describe the mostly illegal blood sport of bullfighting.
However, an equally ancient and non-violent alternative exists where not only is the bull not maimed (or killed) but the participants perform far more acrobatic and daring maneuvers like flips, leaps, and last-second dodges.
In Spain they are called Recortadores, and bull-leaping is also popular in parts of India and France as well.
