If you’ve ever left something valuable behind on an airplane, you know how frustrating it can be to find it. KLM Airlines and their team at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport understand that frustration too, which is why they’ve hired a secret weapon to help their lost and found service.
Enter Sherlock, KLM’s friendly and furry beagle who is scent-trained to reunite lost property – including toys, phones, and laptops – with it’s legitimate (and often delighted) owner. The new employee was also tested for muscle strength, endurance, and especially socialization.
Of course, KLM Airlines also uses more traditional means of lost and found. If you’ve lost something, you can contact them on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
