People Can’t Stop Tripping on This NYC Subway Step That is a Fraction Taller

At the 36th Street Station in New York City (36th and Fourth Avenue in Sunset Park, Brooklyn to be exact) there is one step on the stairway to the subway that is a fraction of an inch taller than the rest.

In fact, it’s just tall enough to trip unsuspecting commuters all day and all night. It’s one of those design flaws that will likely never get fixed and will be sure to trip countless people for years to come.
