Video of a Chinese click farm has recently surfaced and spread online. According to the person filming, there were 10,000 more phones not shown here all capable of a variety of unscrupulous tactics such as: liking and commenting on social media, making fake ratings for mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play, and even leaving fake product ratings on websites like Amazon.
In fact, fake review and ratings have become so rampant that websites like ReviewMeta and Fakespot have been created to help consumers try to weed out the disingenuous ones.
