Storm chaser and photographer Mike Olbinski captured this unbelievable timelapse of a giant dust storm passing through Phoenix, Arizona on 5 July 2011.

A dust storm, which is also known as a haboob, is a type of intense dust storm carried on an atmospheric gravity current. Haboobs occur regularly in arid regions throughout the world.
