Incredible Robot Sculptures Made from Old Electronic Parts

Using discarded parts like old electronics, recycled materials and toys, Andrea Petrachi aka Himatic, has skillfully assembled these into wonderful robotic sculptures; breathing life into these old objects. Some look playful, other are a little creepy, but all of them are delightful in their own way.

THE ARTIST
– Andrea Petrachi (Himatic) was born in Lecce, Italy in 1975
– He is now based in Milan where he works as a video editor for RAI TV
– He sees his work as a symbol of our out-of-control desire to buy things
– His work also raises issues about the human desire to challenge nature through technology
