Quitting my job was the best decision of my life

Last year, I quit my job. I was 36.

I had reached my breaking point.

I have worked full time for 20 years.

I had little to show for it except exhaustion.

I also had a serious disdain for the 9-to-5 system.

I was incredibly lucky. I won a £10,000 casino jackpot.

A couple of months later, I thought screw this.

I went off work sick with depression. I got paid for 3 months.

Then, I left.
