It’s a tale as old as time…

A non-smoker having to live by someone who has no regard for their situation and puffs the night away.

Annoying? Yes.

Rude? Absolutely.

That’s what this guy is dealing with and he’s pretty upset about it because he also some has some health issues to worry about.

Let’s take a look at what he had to say about this.

Complained about neighbor’s heavy smoking getting into my room. It seemed like it stopped but now I suspect they are vaping.

“I moved into a new unit in a non-smoking building about a month ago and from Day One I noticed smoke would come into my room from around 6 pm until way past midnight.

This sounds serious!

It started to mess with my respiratory health so I had to send several complaints to the building manager. Every time I’d complain they’d stop for a few days and then start back up again.

Well for my last complaint I called security on them and apparently they knock on their door and everything. The culprit stopped again for what seemed 3 days (weird for a very heavy smoker to fully stop all of the sudden).

For the first two days they weren’t in the apartment, I know because I could see their color room light was off at night when I came out to the balcony (they always have a neon color light on at night in their room).

My respiratory issues started to go away and I was feeling a lot better.

Here it comes again!

But on the third day my breathing issues are back. I don’t smell smoke in the room. But when I go outside I see their weird color light is on. I suspect they are using a low odor vape.

The air feels weird in the room, my throat is scratchy and I am having trouble breathing again. I feel like I am completely screwed because I won’t be able to prove they are smoking.

He’s had just about enough of this.

I am trying to put a case together to break my lease, get out of this apartment and as far away as possible from this piece of garbage. But if I can’t prove that they are smoking I am completely screwed! I’m gonna have to live with this scumbag for an entire year.

I’ve read a lot of post from vape smokers on Reddit bragging that it’s almost impossible for neighbors to smell modern odorless vapes. And that’s just made me so depressed.
