Imagine working at the front desk of a hotel, when a bunch of families arrive to check in. But these aren’t families on vacation. These are families whose kids are in sports and who happen to be in town for a tournament.
Would you expect the parents and kids to be well behaved and respectful, or would you expect them to be entitled and annoying?

Congratulations, you paid a circus carny a couple hundred dollars to host a baseball tournament so you can relive your dreams of being a professional athlete through the kids you clearly will fail to guide through the real world one day.
OP doesn’t like the way the dads talk to him or his coworkers.
You’re tough talking the staff of a hotel, because you WOULDN’T DARE raise your voice to your shrew of a wife or jerkoff of a boss.
The way you talk to us is clearly what you’ve heard from the authority figures in your life, and you’re just doing a corny impression of them back to us.
Keep that baseball hat on tight, it hides all indications that Father Time hasn’t been favorable to your hairline.
He thinks he’s much better off than the dads.
You see, my colleagues and I are going to clock out (because yes, we got paid to put up with you, you paid to be around us) and some of us are going to go to an actual bar, and AT LEAST our choices are more than a lone pick-me, try-hard, divorced sports mom that’s the only choice in the hotel for you tonight.
Now chug down that alcohol and find the courage to wake up tomorrow and pile into that minivan to get back to your miserable life.

Awful groups of guests annoy more than the hotel workers.
I can only imagine how awful it must be to deal with these annoying sports dads. They probably have no idea how they appear through the hotel staff’s eyes. If only they could somehow have an epiphany and change their ways.
