There’s a HUGE difference between kids roaming around a neighborhood because they’re bored and youngsters whose parents let them run wild and never discipline them.

To add insult to injury, if the adults are just as bad as the kids, the situation is MUCH WORSE.

That’s the kind of neighbors the guy who wrote this story is dealing with, and he’s had just about enough of their nonsense.

Check out his story below, and think about what you would do in his situation.

I would love some advice please about my next door neighbors.

“We have lived (UK) in our house almost 4 years.

We private rent and our neighbors own their property.

They are terraced housing. Also relevant is that I have multiple chronic illnesses and am disabled.

Our neighbors have 2 children aged around 7 (F) and 18 months (F).

This sounds like a bit much…

The whole time we have lived here we have put up with screaming and shouting at each other and the kids, its like the only way they communicate non stop.

I know families fight but this is multiple times a day, every day.

The kids also constantly bang on the walls and bang their stair gates into the adjoining wall, repetitively for 10 plus minutes at a time.

Now the eldest is getting older we have no privacy in the garden also.

Cute kid!

She climbs on the fence and hangs over our side, she sprays water at me over the fence and she is almost always outside unsupervised.

Today was the icing on the cake when I set up a brand new paddling pool for my son which took a lot out of me given my health but I was so pleased I had done it.

He spent about an hour in it and then had to come inside as once again the girl was hanging over the fence.

Half an hour later I went outside to find the pool full of mud and stones and a piece of their fence.

Before I say a word a little voice says “Hello, a cat made that mess in your garden”. And there was my answer.

These people sound pretty trashy.

I have spoken to my neighbors to try and solve this amicably but they are not interested.

Do we give up?

Do we move?

Do I have any rights in a situation like this?

The stress of the noise and the shouting/hearing arguing so much is making me ill.
