She Thinks Neighborhood Kids Might Be Peeking Into Her Window—But She Has No Proof

Nobody likes to be watched.
Not at work, not at stores, not at the gym…and especially not in their own homes…
But some people just don’t have enough sense to mind their own business!
In today’s story, a woman explained why the kids in her neighborhood are creeping her out…and she feels like she’s being watched.
Take a look at what she had to say.
Neighbour’s kids might be looking through my bedroom window.
“Our neighbours live in a big multiple story house and they have multiple balconies.
My house is smaller and my bedroom is on the ground floor, window facing their balconies. The kids there have at times gone on those balconies and shouted down to their friends in the yard. That’s relatively normal and I’m used to it.
This doesn’t sound good…
So used to it in fact, that I didn’t even realize one of them (maybe, I’ve never looked too closely so might have been two different kids) had been seemingly looking at my window. I say seemingly because I’m still not totally sure he’s doing it.
Usually the kid is looking down to the side or around everywhere but recently, wherever I turn around I feel like he’s looking right at me.
I don’t even know if he can see much cause of the angle and because I don’t see his face super clear or anything but it feels off.
Also today I turned on the light and suddenly heard him shout something when he was alone, no one in the yard or anything? So yeah, felt suspicious.
Obvious solution would be to close the window and roll down the blinds I already have (which I do when absolutely forced).
It’s hot out there!
But it’s August and reaches up to 35 degrees Celsius and my room is extremely hot and since I’m sweaty and the room is full of stuff it gets a bit stinky/stuffy during summer when I don’t keep it open throughout the day. I also don’t like having to adjust to little kids.
My chair and desk are also right by the window and this is where I spend most of my day when home so it’s incredibly inconvenient. I also have in the past gotten dressed there since my closet and dressers are there.
I only did that cause at that point very rarely did any of the people living there go on the balcony. While they did sometimes do it before it’s also very strange to me how much it’s increased.
She’s creeped out by all of this.
So this post is half asking for advice and half ranting because I feel too awkward and insane to rant to anyone else. I don’t think they’re peeping, but…
Maybe?
I genuinely have no idea but it’s strange because he’s usually gone there to talk to someone but recently he’s been there alone so and again seemingly looking straight at me.
I can’t stand it.
I don’t know if this is enough information to deduce whether I’m being insane or not. But does anyone have any advice? I don’t wanna go to the parents in case I’m totally wrong and just accuse the poor kid.
In case he is looking, what can I do to deter him?”

This is pretty annoying…
But she’s gotta figure out a way to deal with this nuisance.
Maybe she just needs to close those shades and not worry about it anymore…
