How would you feel if you uprooted your entire family because you wanted some peace and quiet…
And you were repaid by an equal amount of noise in your new location?
You probably be pretty ticked off, right?
Hell yeah, you would!
Well, the guy you’re about to hear from doesn’t have to imagine that scenario: he’s living it each and every day…and he’s incredibly frustrated.

Moved to get peace, can’t escape.
“My current situation is not neighbors from Hell, but I moved here to get away from a true neighbor from hell that included going to court, bullets (not fired), hiring an attorney, hiring an armed guard, and easily over 10 calls to police.
He thought this was the right move.
I went way out of my desired part of town to move to a house that was a financial stretch, greatly increased my commute and from all appearances a very quiet, mature neighborhood. Many of the owners are seniors with a mixture of young families.
However the next door house literally a week before we moved in was destroyed. The owner is very nice but the construction company is creating problems.
It’s not neighbor from Hell level (yet) and I know the woman whose house was destroyed has it way worse.
I’m just so frustrated that I paid all this money, uprooted my family’s life and increased our commutes to get peace.
This is very frustrating.
It was so nice for the months and months nothing next door was happening but now it’s ruined.
The construction starts before the allowable time waking us up. I’ve had to file multiple complaints with the city.
I’m pretty sure they took down a tree that straddles the property line without telling me. And now I’m concerned they poured the new slab way too close to the property so that they are now encroaching on my property.
I am having to pay for a survey company to come mark the property line to check. They couldn’t come out for two weeks so now they’re framing a house that is potentially too close to the property line (I could be wrong of course but I’m not feeling lucky).
There’s no peace at all around here!
Now they’re starting construction at 7:15 am on a Saturday which is legal but so inconsiderate. Unfortunately my bedroom is on the side of the house next to their house.
I bought this property because it was over an acre with lots of screening between me and the neighbors. Some of my screening has been destroyed from the work next door and until I get the property line marked I can’t prove it was on my side.
If it is I don’t want this headache of dealing with this construction company which is a huge company and creating animosity between myself and the owner but I bought this house for the screening and land.
I just wanted some peace.”
