We hired a company to mow our lawn, and they come and do their thing a few times per month.

I noticed recently that they were fully mowing a section of our neighbor’s property, which is adjacent to our lawn.

Turns out, this was no accident.

I’ve come to figure out that our neighbor specifically asked the company to do this in lieu of a different section of OUR property.

After clarifying with the lawn company, apparently our neighbor asked them to do his property instead of this “skipped section,” because sometimes a different neighbor comes and takes care of this section for us whenever they feel like it (and not on a predetermined schedule).

Now the homeowner has some serious concerns about all this.

I still feel icky about this arrangement that was made without my consent.

If the neighbor truly wanted his lawn serviced, he needs to cough up the cash and pay just like everyone else.
