Wow…some people just really come out and say what they want, huh?

That can be a good thing or a bad thing, but I guess the positive part is that at least you know where people stand when they act like this, right?

Sure!

The man who wrote this story explained why his wife was caught off-guard when she got a very specific request from a school principal during an interview.

Take a look at what he had to say.

Apparently Teachers Are Supposed to Schedule Pregnancy Around the School Calendar.

“My wife and I got married fairly recently, and she recently moved to the state I live in.

She’s an elementary school teacher and has years of experience, including working at one of the highest-rated schools in her former state.

I helped her prepare her resume and application materials, and in the end she got an interview with an independent school with a very good reputation.

This sounded promising…

From what she told me, the interview was going extremely well.

They basically told her right away that she was a great fit for the position and that her background made the decision easy for them.

And then they got to the final question.

Here it comes…

The recruiter, who also turned out to be the school principal, said:

“I know you recently got married, and you’ll probably want to have a baby at some point. Can you plan for the birth to be around May? Because if you have the baby in June, you might not be able to come back in time for the new school year, which starts in early September. And of course, if it happens during the school year, finding a short-term substitute becomes a huge headache.”

My wife was honestly shocked, and she laughed nervously because she didn’t know how to answer.

She didn’t answer the question, moved past it, and accepted the job, LOL.”

I like how she didn’t answer the question and just kept on rolling with the interview.

That’s a power move!

Well, I guess this guy got his answer…

What a dumb thing to say!
