Woman Says Her Neighbor’s Kids Make Noise At All Hours, Disrupting Her And Her Mother’s Lives

Sure, they are!
Well, most of the time…
But, if don’t have the proper parental guidance and supervision, well, that’s when things can get ugly…not only for the parents, but for the folks who live around them.

Upstairs neighbour with 3 kids in 2 bedroom flat is making my family and I miserable.
“I’m writing this because I’ve had enough and I need to vent/rant.
A year ago, my family and I were moved into a bottom flat after years of temporary accommodation. Before anyone says “move houses,” we do not have to means or funds to. Also, I am the daughter of the tenant who is still in school.
Now, the neighbour has 3 kids all ages between primary and secondary school so around 10 – 14 years old.
Ugh…
This mother has no idea how to take care of her kids. She lets her children jump up and down the while flat while screaming and playing loud music.
The mother isn’t any better herself as we’ve talked with a few other neighbours around the block who also seem to dislike her. Mind you, the mother + kids are the middle flat of a 6 block flat (3 verticle up + another 3 attached to our block), and the fact she has zero self awareness about how much noise she makes.
This has taken a toll on me and my mother, who works night shifts.
I’m at the end of my wits with them. My mum had previously talked to them about keeping the noise down but she has refused to so or cooperate and have in fact stomped harder as a result.
This is enough to drive anyone crazy…
The landlord is absolutely useless, these people have affect my studies and mental health to the point I find myself crying and breaking down.
It’s so mentally exhausting and I just wish, by God’s grace, that we had the money to move again. It hurts seeing my mum going to work sleep deprived as we are working class, she sometimes takes overtime shifts to make extra cash for us.
I’ve considered buying a megaphone, a ceiling thumper, ANYTHING so they can get a taste of their own medicine.
As I’m typing this, the kids are currently stomping and screaming and one of them said an inappropriate word.
What kind of mum allows such language?”
