What would you do if you thought your significant other’s manager had a crush on them and was flirting with them? If you trusted your partner not to flirt back or let it lead to anything, would you mind your own business, or would you share your concerns with them?

In this story, a boyfriend tells his girlfriend that he thinks her manager has a crush on her. She doesn’t think that’s true.

Keep reading to find out why the boyfriend is suspicious of the manager and to see if you think he’s overreacting or not.

I’m skeptical about my gfs manager

AIO? Am I being insecure? I think my gfs manager has a crush on her.

My girlfriend works at a home improvement store.

She tells me about this particular manager who is always with her at her department to help her out and get that department in top shape.

This is odd.

The thing is, he’s not even the manager of that department but he’s always there and I mean always. All the time.

There’s never a day where doesn’t tell me he’s there.

She swears he’s just being helpful because he’s a a nice guy but I honestly think he’s trying to spend as much time with her as possible.

He even comes on his days off to help her out specifically.

His girlfriend thinks he’s overreacting.

He has a whole wife and kids and I find it extremely weird he’s choosing time at work with a co worker, over time with his family.

Girlfriend thinks I’m being insecure. Am I?

One reason I’m already a little concerned is because of a different co worker she told me not to worry about.

But it wasn’t innocent on the coworker’s part.

Turns out the whole time he was flirting with her and buying her Starbucks everyday.

She only confessed this because she found out he had a gf who worked in the same store.

She said she never flirted back but it seems like she would entertain it.

We have only been together for 3 months and I’m concerned.

Did his girlfriend realize the other coworker was flirting with her? Maybe she honestly doesn’t think the guy is flirting with her or attracted to her, even though he clearly seems to be.

I see major red flags about her current manager. No sane person would go to work on their day off to help a new hire instead of spending time with his family. He clearly has a crush on her.

Let’s see if Reddit agrees.

Maybe he should give his girlfriend an ultimatum. Either she puts a stop to the flirting, or he breaks up with her. Or he could just break up with her.
