How fast could you go on a fixed-gear, 104-tooth chain ring bike? That’s what frame builder Tom Donhou and his friends sought to answer. Inspired by the men of the salt flats in the 60s who pushed the land speed record from the 300s up towards the 600 mph mark in jet-propelled cars built in their sheds, Tom and co. decided to do what they do: build a bicycle, but this time, in the spirit of those pioneers of speed, build it to see how fast they could go…
