His Friend Became His Boss and Started Treating Him Terribly—So He Complained Online, Got Fired, and Fought Back

Working for a friend can seem like a great idea, but it often changes the relationship, and not in a good way.
What would you do if you were working for a friend who wasn’t very good at his job?
That is what happened to the guy in this story, so he posted something negative about him online (in a private group), but his friend/manager saw it anyway and ended up firing him for it. To get revenge, he reported the manager to HR for the many illegal things that he did while on the clock, and got him fired, too. Of course, the friendship was over.
While it is always unfortunate to lose a friend, this was a great way to handle a bad situation. Read through the full story below and see what you think about it.
Got fired from a job by my friend.
So, a couple months ago I got fired from a drivethrough only fast food restaurant for posting about my store manger (who was my friend/coworker before she was store manager).
Workplace drama is never a good thing.
The thing is, I posted it to my private snap story with 3 ppl (now 2 thanks to Janessa). I know who told her and I called her out in the meeting bc she was, again, my friend.
I know I shouldnt have posted about her, but honestly I do not regret it. She was constantly confusing talking to her employees with gossiping about her employees to them.
The manager should not be talking badly to the employees.
Lets call store manager Turd. Turd liked to walk around telling people that me, other coworkers and my other friend, outside of work too, Patritcha were bad at our jobs and that we complained too much.
The thing is, Turd started after almost everyone who worked there, as a regular employee and she didn’t even know how to do the most basic task we had at that store.
She really sounds awful.
She was constantly handing out the wrong things. Constantly blaming HER mistakes on the new hires. She was never at the store when she was scheduled (from what I understand, she was still getting paid for those days)
She was just plain unprofessional. The past store manager George had asked me if I wanted to be a shift lead and I got excited and said yes. This was right before George left, and so he said hed tell Turd to promote me.
No boss will be ok with their employees posting negatively about them online.
She never did. 6 months later and 4 different texts asking about it and Turd said I would not be a shift lead. The night before I talk to her in person about it, I posted that video.
The video was me saying I was going to give my boss a “new one” but I NEVER said any names. The handbook says no posting about the job and using the business name online.
Who needs a friend like that?
Well, That meeting turned into me being fired. After the meeting she went up to Patricha and told her I said bad things about her in the meeting, WHICH DIDNT HAPPEN.
Patricha then sent me a text the next day saing she no longer wishes to be friends with basically a backstabber and that she didn’t want me to contact her again, and then blocked me. I didnt even get a chance to tell her it wasnt true.
Breaking the law while at work is a terrible idea.
Something funny to note- I got locked in the bathroom for over an hour at this job and they did nothing for about 45 min until Turd finally came back to the store from “getting supplies” and she called the fire department.
Ok, backstory over now for the juicy part:
Turd sells alcohol and nicotine and weed to the minors that work for her.
There are lots of problems at this company.
Turd has come to work high on Weed.
Josh, her favorite lead (who got promoted a week after he started), comes into work high every day. He admitted to me he takes an edible before every shift.
Amanda (a minor) smokes in the bathroom at work and encourages the other minors to come with.
Clearly, this manager deserves some type of revenge.
Turd refused to train the new hires, it was so bad someone did not know where the fridge was after working there for 3 weeks.
Turd gossips about employees with other employees.
Turd and Lunesta (training lead who was the one to tell on me for posting) said a lot that they are going to get supplies and then they come back 3 hrs later with one small bag of supplies and McDonalds. I should note the supplies store is 10 minutes from our location.
Let’s see what they do.
On top of all this we get one free small BLANK from our job. (blank cuz it would give away what the job was) and Turd encouraged the new hires to take the bigger sizes when that is another thing that she fired an old employee for.
So what did I do? Well. After I left, she texted me a long paragraph, I’m sure she sends to everyone she fired, giving me an email for the HR person.
How did they not see this coming?
I’m sure you can probably guess what I did but I sent an email with my other email address that they did not know. I included every little detail, from how Turd asked me if I could tell if she was high to the selling of substances to minors.
I put EVERYTHING in that email. I never heard back but Turd and Josh were drug tested, failed it and got fired from what I know.
Good, the boss deserved it. Hopefully, the restaurant will run more smoothly now.

I believe the only reason no one else was drug tested was because they are minors? But I could definitely be wrong. Lunesta still works there but the whole store got retrained from what I know.
My sisters love that place (its very well know in my area and was featured in a popular tv show), so when they visit so when the go they always tell Lunesta to have a bad day. She doesnt even know they are my sisters😂
It is always shocking when a manager does all kinds of illegal stuff right in front of (or with) employees and doesn’t see it coming when an employee they fire takes revenge.
Check out what the commenters had to say below.
This person wants to avoid the restaurant at all costs.

Everyone in this story seems awful.

This person thinks they could still file a complaint.

They really do sound exhausting.

I can’t imagine that they do.

Wherever this is, it seems like a horrible place to work. Everyone working there is very immature and untrustworthy.
Honestly, I would hate to even go there for food. You never know what you will get, but it won’t be good.
