There are some really awful neighbors out there, and sometimes it’s hard to know if you’re the awful neighbor or if your neighbor is the one being awful. Sometimes, both neighbors are convinced that the other neighbor is the awful one, such is the case in this story.

One person keeps calling the police on her neighbor, but the police are always on his side. I’m sure she thinks he’s the awful neighbor, but he’s sure fed up with her nonsense!

HOA Neighbors….

So, i live in a township, but next to a HOA.

I have a 50 and 100y shooting range in the back and in the last year, the cops have been out 3 times from neighbors calling them when im shooting. and each time, they say, “just checking in, you are all good, have a nice day..” and we laugh..

well, yesterday, i zero a new sight for my 450BM with 9 rounds, then a buddy stops over to do some pistol shooting and a cop shows up and says “we had a report of cannon fire… lol” so, we laugh about it, he leaves and we keep shooting…

This is weird.

after i come in, my wife hands me her cell and says listen to this..

10min after the cop left is when the VM came, its a creepy old lady saying my name and she is watching me…

so, i call the cop back and he says after he left he stopped at her house to tell her im all legal and can do what i want on my property.

Her response was “well maybe ill have to call the news then..”

He’s really upset.

So now im convinced the VM was from her, so i email the file to him to verify, and tell him he might want to have a talk with her on what a REAL BAD idea it is do do that.

And he says if its her, he will be stopping back at her house for a discussion…

At this point, IM MAD….. so, come 4pm today, the back of her house sits at the end of a valley off the side of my property so it will funnel the sound right to her house, ill take my AR with a nice LOUD JP break on it and do a mag dump back in the valley

It might be better just to laugh it off. It sounds like the police are on his side and he isn’t doing anything wrong. The neighbor is being annoying, but he can choose to just ignore her.

A range owner weighs in.

That sounds pretty annoying. The neighbor obviously seems to dislike living near his shooting range, but she’s complaining for no good reason. He’s not breaking the law. The police are on his side.

I bet the police are almost just as annoyed at the neighbor as he is. She’s really wasting their time.
