A woman explained why she’s pretty annoyed by a friend of hers who doesn’t seem to have a whole lot of self-awareness…and she did something pretty drastic that proves it!

“I have a friend who was independent until semi-recently.
She got laid off from her job in 2024 and since hasn’t been looking at all to work or do anything.
I wouldn’t work either if I could afford to live without it but I cannot.
She sounds like a good friend…
I’ve always been one to offer rides to my buds or be the driver anytime there’s a trip or activity because I genuinely enjoy driving.
I typically give this friend rides all the time especially since we only live a mile from one another.
Okay, that’s kind of weird…
Out of the blue, she told me just a couple days ago that she sold her car since I give her rides anywhere she needs anyways, so it’s a cash bonus for her now that she doesn’t have to drive because she will rely solely on me…
Uhhh, what?
I mentioned that it’s good she has more money now for Lyft and uber and ended at that, and quite frankly, I don’t think I’ll ever give her a ride again for setting that heavy expectation on me out of nowhere.
