I think letting it go without consequences puts everyone on the road in danger, including the driver.
I can understand why the truckers prevented him from merging.
A favor stops being a favor when it turns into a full road trip.
And I have to agree, being asked first indeed would’ve been nice, even if just mainly as a polite gesture.
Sometimes, helping means knowing where to draw the line before it becomes a responsibility.
In other words, he’s not being supportive just because he disagrees in principle.
But this is why I believe “stranger danger” still applies when you’re an adult.
His desire to learn needs to outweigh his anxiety.
