A powerful storm brought sub-zero temperatures to the northern region of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia where temperatures dropped to -2°C (28.4°F), covering the surrounding desert in snow.

The rare occurrence was captured by TikTok user @x509o, who’s surreal video of snow underneath the sand made for a surprising sight.
