“I Couldn’t Stay Silent”: Employee Takes Boss’s Misconduct Straight to District Manager

Some managers get way too comfortable sharing things that really don’t belong at work.
One employee dealt with that after her manager repeatedly crossed personal boundaries with younger female staff.
Needless to say, it didn’t take long for several people to complain, at which time, the district manger started asking questions.
Well, when they got to her, she told the truth and explained how uncomfortable he made everyone feel.
The problem is that now her boyfriend thinks she stirred up trouble and should’ve stayed out of it.

AITA for possibly getting my manager fired?
Recently (maybe 2 months ago, not sure), multiple people filed a complaint against my manager. He had a history of sharing way too many details with female employees.
He is always complaining about his wife and the problems they have in their marriage. He only complains about his wife to his female employees, who are, on average, 16–23.
Here are some of the things he’s done:
She’s compiled a long list of grievances against him.
He went to lunch with a 16-year-old female employee and complained about his wife to her. They also would call/text each other daily.
He told me his love language, and then said he doesn’t like to touch his wife.
He told people at the store that my high school coworker had an ***.
He said I got COVID through “exchanging fluids” with my boyfriend.
He made coworkers clock-in late because he was ranting to them about his wife.
Now, she and her boyfriend don’t see the situation the same way.
Those are just some things I can think of off the top of my head. He doesn’t really understand what professionalism is, and it makes all of us uncomfortable.
The district manager called me the other day since, apparently, multiple people complained and told her to talk to me. I explained some things that he said and how they made me feel. Then I referred her to a coworker who has had lots of bad experiences with our manager.
I told my boyfriend this, and he said I was stirring ****. I never lied, and I didn’t speak maliciously.
My boyfriend argued that my manager is just lonely and has no one. I don’t care if he’s lonely. It’s completely unprofessional to tell your wife troubles to high school girls.
AITA?
Yikes! It’s always stressful when someone you care about can’t see your way of thinking.

It sounds like he’s getting way too personal with some of the employees, and they don’t know how to create boundaries with him.
No matter where you work, managers need to know where the line is, especially when they’re talking to much younger employees.
And if this guy can’t keep those boundaries in place, then maybe he shouldn’t be managing people.
