And it’s incredibly frustrated to be singled out for something that you simply didn’t do!

In today’s story, a man explained why his creepy neighbors are really making his anxious.

My neighbors told me “we’re watching you” and I’m starting to feel genuinely anxious.

“About a month ago, I started noticing some strange behavior from my neighbors.

My father was having a barbecue one day. One of our neighbors came over because she was annoyed by the smell.

Really…?

My father explained that he was almost done cooking and would stop afterwards, but she wanted him to stop immediately and the conversation became tense.

During the argument, she started talking about me even though I wasn’t there. She said it was “not normal” that I bring a girl home, even though she is my girlfriend and we have been together for about two years.

She also claimed that I often hang around a local wash house/laundry area with drug dealers.

This is a LIE.

The problem is that I basically never go there. So either they are confusing me with someone else, or they have completely wrong information about me.

My father told them to stop following me if they were actually doing that.

Today, I went outside with my girlfriend. My neighbors happened to come outside around the same time.

The woman then told me:

“Be careful, we’re watching you.”

She also said something along the lines of:

“He isn’t saying anything this time.”

Even though I had never said anything to them before.

This is really creepy…

Since then, I’ve been feeling really uncomfortable whenever I go outside.

I keep feeling like I’m being watched, and I’m scared that they might actually be following me, although I currently have no proof that they are.

I don’t want to start a confrontation. Ideally, I’d like to talk to them calmly, with my father aware/present, and simply ask them why they think these things about me and where this information came from.

But right now, this situation is genuinely frightening me.
