She started complaining to her landlord about her neighbor’s behavior.
Now, she’s worried that speaking up too often could affect her lease renewal despite being a quiet, reliable tenant.

I’m getting worried that complaining about my neighbor will make the landlord hate me
They’re legit complaints.
Mainly about her excessive guests taking up too much parking and also parking in obstructive ways.
It happened again this morning.
I’ve complained to the landlord maybe 4 times now over the past month.
This woman started to feel like she was being annoying.
Before this lady moved in next door, I never complained about anything. There was no need to.
Now, I’m starting to feel like I’m being annoying.
And maybe the landlord will decide to not let me renew my lease in a year if I want to.
Which honestly, if this lady is still living next to me, I’ll most likely move anyway.
She worries that her landlord will not renew her lease if she keeps complaining.
It’s just my rent is affordable for me where I am.
And I like the company I rent through.
I’m just nervous they’ll view me as a tenant not worth keeping.
Even though I’m quiet and pay rent on time every single month.
Reporting legitimate problems in your neighborhood should be valid and reasonable.
However, I can understand why making several complaints in a short period would make OP feel worried that she may be perceived as difficult.
I guess she has to be honest and open when communicating with her landlord and ensure that she isn’t the one creating the problems.
