89 Year Old War Vet Scores Awesome Touchdown at Alumni Football Game
Watch Bryan Sperry, an 89-year-old war vet who served in WWII and played in the 1948 Orange Bowl for Kansas, score a touchdown for the ages at the university’s annual spring alumni game.
After finishing his football playing career in Kansas (interestingly, he also played for Kansas State), Sperry went on to teach a high school football team and was a math teacher at Pittsburgh State for decades. You can read more about Sperry’s fascinating life at the Kansas City Star.
