Drone Captures Strange Giant Rotating Ice Circle From Above
Bulldog Aerials captured this giant ice circle rotating slowly in the Presumpscot River in Westbrook, Maine. The perfectly circular slab of ice measures roughly 100 yards (91 m) in diameter.
These ice circles are natural phenomena that occur in slow-moving water in cold climates. It is believed that they form in eddy currents and can maintain their rotation due to melting. [source]
