Photographer Garðar Ólafs got this incredible shot of the erupting Geldingadalir volcano in Iceland. Unfortunately the cost was one melted drone—which he has no regrets about—considering how well the footage turned out.

Ólafs tells PetaPixel when he recovered his drone, the lights and sensors underneath had melted, rendering it unusable.
