by Ashley Dreiling
Hogan Peters, founder of YEW! (Your Environment’s Wax), has made a business of recycling wax from old surfboards. YEW! manufactures six different types of surf wax and their satisfying waxing videos have gained online followers.
Peters says you should rewax your surfboard after periods of unuse, or if it loses traction or grip. Check out the creative techniques YEW! uses for removing old wax and reusing it to create their own custom wax products for different temperatures, layers, and surfing regions.
