Whale scientist Nan Hauser describes how she believes a humpback whale saved her from a shark, and what happened when the same whale came back.

Nan Hauser is the president and director of the Center for Cetacean Research and Conservation. She resides in Rarotonga, Cook Islands, where she is the Principal Investigator of the Cook Islands Whale Research Project and Director of the Cook Islands Whale & Wildlife Center.
