The Cheapest Michelin-Starred Meal in the World Only Costs $1.50 US
For the last 35 years, chef Chan Hon Meng has been running Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle, a food stall in Singapore’s largest open-air food court.
The street food vendor is the first food stall operator to ever receive a Michelin Star and at $1.50 US for a plate of soya sauce chicken rice, it’s the cheapest Michelin-starred meal you can get in the world.
