Seen here is the famous bamboo grove in Arashiyama, which is located in the western outskirts of Kyoto, Japan. A walking path cuts through the bamboo grove making for an enchanting stroll, especially when the sunlight peaks through and a wind makes the trees sway to and fro.

It’s one of the most popular activities in Kyoto so be prepared for crowds and lots of people snapping photos.
