‘I have to laugh, I’m sorry.’ A Target Worker Laughs About the Store’s New Exchange Policy Which Doesn’t Allow For Exchanges
by Matthew Gilligan
Say whaaaaaaaat?
Well, this is kind of interesting…and confusing…but we’re gonna clear it up in just a second!
A Target employee named Ronnie made a funny video about the store’s recent change to its exchange policy and said that shoppers can return a lot of items for up to 90 days and 120 days if they use a Target RedCard.
She also told people that all Target Owned Brand items can now be returned for up to a year.
The new policies have obviously caused some confusion with customers, because the video shows her standing in front of a desk with a sign that reads “Exchanges” over it.
The text overlay on the video reads, “When i tell a guest we don’t have an exchange policy anymore & they reply ‘so why does it say it behind you?’”
Just so there’s no confusion, Target’s website says, “Most items purchased in store can be returned for a complete refund and repurchased for the new item, if available, at Guest Services within the return policy time frame, and we’ll honor your promotional or sale price.”
Bingo bango!
Here’s her video:
@_ronniecardones like its just a sign im sorry i just work here 😂😂#fyp #targetstruggles
And here’s how people reacted.
This person couldn’t believe the folks at Target thought this was a good idea…
Another individual shared how they do returns at Target.
And this person is longing for the old days…
Target, let’s get it together!
There’s nothing that turns shoppers off more than when they get mixed messages.
