Two Guests Wanted to be Adventurous, But One Just Arrested
This happened over the weekend. I’m only posting it now because well, it was a hectic few days. That being said… I’d like to say that the things that guests do surprise me. But after so long, I can’t say that.
She goes on to explain the entire event…
I mean sure, I might be surprised in the moment, mostly because it’s like what the actual hell. But most of the behavior that guests get into doesn’t really surprise me, it either annoys or aggravates me. This story falls under aggravation.
So on Saturday night, I’m starting my audit shift, and it’s busier than normal mostly due to a school group we have in house and some annual festivities that have started.
The phone’s ringing, people are hanging out in the lobby, people are coming up to the desk, people are going into our store, people are coming up the door. Add to that people checking in, and me trying to keep people from the club out.
It’s nonstop. And by the time midnight hits I’ve been needing to use the restroom for like 45 minutes.
This is where it gets bad…
Finally, as I was at the point where I didn’t think I could hold it anymore, a small window of time opened, and off I went to the restroom. I get there, and when I open the door, my aggravation gets even bigger as I see feet inside the stall.
I’m like, “What the ****!?!” Before I turn around and see if I can make it to the back of house and use the employee restroom, I suddenly hear a woman moan.
I look a little closer, and I see two pairs of feet. I have inadvertently stumbled upon a man and woman banging away on each other. The only credit I’ll give them is that they were trying to not make too much noise because I didn’t hear her until I opened the door.
Call it Karma or the Universe deciding to give me a way to take out my aggravation on someone, but as I’m standing there, she moans out that she’s close and to not stop. The thought in my head was, “Not today.”
UH OH…
Right as she said that she was almost there I pounded on that stall door like I was the goddamn cops. Suddenly her scream of “Oh God!” was not in pleasure and his scream of pain told me something got bent in a direction it’s not meant to bend in while being pulled out.
I told them to come out, and then threatened to have the police come in and get them when they don’t come out after a little bit. Once they do, the girl looks completely embarrassed but the guy looks at me like he’s going to say or do something stupid… which he does.
He looks at me and says, “You know you’re letting us go, right?”
I might have let them just go upstairs since I recognized them as guests, but not after that.
That’s INSANE!
I make them follow me to the desk, and luckily for me, the cops that are on property (they’re working security for the club) have just happened to walk in and are walking towards us because they need to use the restroom too.
I have them help me escort these two back to the desk when the guy tries to make a break for the elevator. I call my GM and tell him what happened. And no, I did not keep my voice low when I was on the phone.
My GM said to charge them for the night, kick them out of the hotel, and have the police escort them out. Once they’re out of the building, the police can arrest them if they choose, he just wants them gone.
They sure got in a lot of trouble for that…
I found out later from my guard who talks to the cops that they let the girl go, but the guy talked himself into getting arrested on an indecency charge after talking shit to the cops.
And somehow, through all this, I still managed to hold it until I could use the restroom. The employee one though. I was not gonna use that stall.
YIKES! That sounds like some drama!
