Her Landlord Just Wanted to Meet About Something Unspecified—But She Yelled at Him Instead, and Now She’s Facing an Eviction Threat That Could Cost Her the Apartment

Imagine renting an apartment with roommates while you’re going to college. What would you do if the landlord wanted to meet with you about something but all the times he suggested for the meeting where times when you had class or needed to study? Would you prioritize the meeting over your schoolwork, or would you tell him you can’t meet at those times?
In this story, one college student is in this situation, and she has tried to explain that she can’t meet at the times her landlord suggests. When he won’t accept her response, she eventually loses her cool and yells at him.
Now, her roommates are mad at her, but she doesn’t think she did anything wrong.

AITA for blowing up at my landlord for not respecting me and my private life?
I (20F) am renting an apartment near the university I study at. And my landlord (36M) has been fussing me a lot, telling me he wanted to have a meeting with me.
But when I am not at university studying, I’m working everyday to pay off rent and university debt, and I don’t have time for the meeting at all.
She reached her breaking point.
So I’ve told him nicely that I couldn’t do the meeting with him and given him few dates that I’m available, several times.
But he keeps on insisting that he want to have this meeting with me on certain dates, even though ive told him I will be busy and couldn’t make it.
Recently, he messaged me again about the meeting, and I couldn’t hold it in anymore.
I blew up on him, telling him to respect me and my decisions, then went off at him for not even taking care of the apartments condition.
I’m not sure why they would agree to move into an apartment in this condition.
For your information, when me and my roommates first moved into the apartment, the walls were covered in dirt and mold, the ceilings were leaking, and every room was a total mess.
But, my landlord didn’t even care about it, even though he obviously should have.
It was his apartment after all.
Her roommates are mad at her.
He then threatened to evict me and my roommates if I didn’t get my stuff together, and stopped messaging me.
Now, me and my roommates are at risk of being evicted because of him. And they are all telling me im the jerk for possibly getting them all evicted.
But, my family agrees that I did the right thing for standing up for myself.
So, AITA?
Here’s my question. Why does the landlord want to meet with her? Is she failing to pay her rent on time or violating a rule? Otherwise, what’s his deal?

Unless there’s something she’s not telling us, like she’s not paying her rent, the landlord sounds incredibly creepy. I’ve never had a landlord request to meet with me. That’s not necessary at all, and considering she has roommates, he should meet with all of them at once if there’s an actual issue.
Her roommates should be worried about her not mad at her.
