When a tourist returned home from a memorable trip to Iceland they wanted to send a thank you card to the family who let them stay at their farm near Búðardalur in the west of Iceland.

However, with no address or recollection of the family’s name, the best they could do was draw a map to where the farm was located, along with information about the family (the mother worked at the local supermarket and the farm had a lot of sheep!).

Amazingly, the letter was successfully delivered by the postal service and the envelope has since gone viral online.
