It is hard to believe anyone could think that this is acceptable behavior.

Finding a replacement babysitter is a problem her sister is just going to have to handle on her own.
This employee wants to be an individual, not another cog in the corporate machine.
Hopefully the next company she applies at actually knows how to do their job.
