Eyewitness Captures Chilling Blast in Tianjin as Shipment of Explosives Goes Up in Flames
An eyewitness captured the deadly blast that struck the northern China port city of Tianjin earlier today, when a shipment of explosives when up in flames. Early reports say at least 17 people have died and hundreds more have been injured.
Tianjin is a city of around 7 million people just over 100 kilometres from Beijing. The series of devastating blasts propelled a fireball hundreds of meters into the air as explosions were so strong they shook buildings on the opposite end of the city.
