Mad Meteorologist Ventures Into Hurricane Irma’s Eyewall to Measure Its Wind Speed

Simon Brewer and Juston Drake are meteorologists and storm chasers currently featured on The Weather Channel’s series, Storm Riders.

The duo recently shared a viral video on Twitter of Juston venturing into Hurricane Irma to measure the wind speed in the storm’s eyewall. In a later tweet he said wind speeds were around 117 mph or 188 km/h.
