New York City’s Forgotten Underground Tunnels

by Matthew Gilligan

Host Ryan Socash takes viewers on a journey beneath the city of New York City in this video where he explores the forgotten tunnels of the Big Apple.

Socash says, “the fact is there are cavernous mazes of man-made spaces under the city that have literally been lost and forgotten today.”

The video explores the Cobble Hill Tunnel in Brooklyn that originally opened in 1844, the lost mail tunnel in Manhattan, tunnels underneath Columbia University, the Track 61 tunnel under the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, and others.
