Many people have a pretty good idea of what they believe dinosaurs look like because of what they’ve been taught their whole lives.

But the design company Kurzgesagt put out a video that turns the popular idea of how dinosaurs appeared on its head.

The video says that research shows that dinosaurs may have had “more pronounced features that would make [dinosaurs] seem like much more pleasant” than people traditionally believe. Things like fat bellies and even plumage.

In fact, they even think that the iconic T. Rex might have had feathers and had a playful spirit.
