Heavy in Tahiti
In our profile last year of Ray Collins’ incredible seascapes, we learned how being colorblind forced Collins to look more at shapes, lines, and lighting. In this recent image, shared last week on Facebook, Collins added:
Something changed in me this day… Tahiti. Can you imagine the chaos of one’s mind in the midst of such an experience? Most scared I’ve ever been in the ocean, and I was in a boat. There’s a few images from this day in my Water & Light book, but this is the first time I’ve shown this particular image. Life is crazy!
