The Texas State Fair has been bringing families and friends together for lots of fun for decades, but according to some reports, its popularity just isn’t what it once was.

One TikToker was riding a ride and took a video out over the fair, and there was almost nobody in attendance.

The video is taken from high above the area, and there is a caption that says, “Texas State Fair Empty.”

It is in the evening as well, so it should be very busy right now.

The video pans to the left and right, but everywhere you look, it is almost empty.

The video’s description says, “I have never seen the Texas State Fair so empty.”

I agree, this type of thing is usually so busy and popular.

All the lights are on as well, and it isn’t raining or anything, so it really makes you wonder why it might be so dead.

Honestly, for those who are there, I bet it is really fun since there wouldn’t be any lines or anything.

Not surprisingly, there are plenty of comments on the video with different theories.

After you watch the video below, you can keep scrolling down to see some of the most popular comments.

Apparently, there are similar examples of this at other fairs around the country.

Here is the video, so you can see it for yourself:

Fairs should be fun AND affordable.
