Why do people who know deep down that they’re going to be bad pet owners get one animal, let alone multiple pets?

It drives me crazy!

Because the pets end up being neglected and, most of the time, no one else steps in to give them a good life.

“I currently live with someone who has several animals.

It’s my opinion that I’m taking more care of them than the owner.

This doesn’t sound fair…

The owner buys the food but I’m the one filling their food and water dishes 9/10 times.

There are instances where the pets run out of food before pay day so at times I will go buy food to help hold them over.

There are also times that I go out for a few hours or wake up and their water dishes are bone dry.

How sad!

It feels like more of a moral dilemma for me because they’re good animals and don’t deserve to be without.

But they’re also not my dogs and I don’t understand how someone cannot check their animals bowls or notice.

It’s also one of those situations that pointing it out to the person might cause an argument or passive aggressive responses.”
