When living in a neighborhood, it is common courtesy (and often, city ordinance) to avoid loud yard work between certain hours so everyone can sleep.

So, what happens if a neighbor demands that you stop working in the yard while it is still pretty early in the evening?

That is the situation the person in this story is facing, let’s see how it plays out.

Don’t want me to weedeat in the evening FINE. You have a gas powered alarm clock

I work long hours and commute a fair bit to work.

Because of this, I don’t get home and finish eating until like 7pm.

This seems pretty reasonable.

I have to get the yardwork done, and I’m doing stuff in the front yard and I needed to use the weedeater in the backyard at 815pmish.

Well, the weedeater was flooded at 730 or so.

That’s no big deal.

I had to let it sit for a while and got it started again at about 815ish.

I am weedeating the yard and my neighbor apparently doesn’t like the noise at 815.

This neighbor has been a jerk before when I have done legal yard waste burns.

This guy sounds like a jerk.

Well, yelling starts again when I am weedeating, and he wants me to stop.

He won’t stop yelling, and finally asks me to do it in the morning.

He has to weed wack sometime, right?

So, I do it in the morning, as early as possible. 6AM.

Before work, and right at the start of the time I can per city ordinance.

I break out the weedeater and use it to cut a bunch of grass in the backyard with it, instead of using the lawnmower.

They got a gas powered alarm clock.

Hey, what else was he supposed to do?

Let’s see how the people reacted.

I guess some people like to go to bed early.

It’s always a weed-whacker to me.

This person was just following the ordinances.

Calm down, it isn’t even 9PM.

But I guess that’s late for some people.
