A TikTokker named Mason posted a video and told viewers about the strange interaction she had with a cashier at a T.J. Maxx store.

Mason told viewers she went to the register at the T.J. Maxx store to buy some pumpkin-flavored syrup for her coffee.

She said, “He was a little old man. But, he was scanning and he was like, ‘What is this?’”

Mason tried to explain to the man what she was buying, but he responded, “Why would you need coffee syrup?”

She responded by saying, “I don’t know. To flavor your coffee?”

The worker then said to her, “Why don’t you get the coffee flavored? I just don’t think this can be good for you.”
