Printed Book Attempts to Display Every RGB Color Combination
Tauba Auerbach’s RGB Colorspace Atlas were created in 2011. The project consists of three 8x8x8 inch (20.3cm) case bound books. The books attempt to illustrate the RGB color shceme in a page-by-page format.
The printing procedure was digital offset and the cloth covers and edges were airbrushed. Binding was co-designed by Daniel E. Kelm and Tauba Auerbach. The books were bound by Daniel E. Kelm assisted by Leah Hughes at the Wide Awake Garage. Printing was done at Wide Awake Garage, an independent bookbinder.
