I Can’t Afford To Pay My Taxes or Increase Withholdings.

“I’m sure this is a common occurrence but it baffles me how I can work full time, live check to check, barely have enough to balance my budget and do anything outside of subsistence living.

Ouch…

This year taxes are over $1,200 and I have to set up a payment plan.

I literally cannot afford to set aside any money outside of my paycheck for anything, I have no savings as it is.

I wonder if yearly bonuses are skewing earned income vs. what I’m actually taking home.

I’ve done the calculations, and they say I should have a refund.

It sounds like something is off…

The fun part on the most recent calculation….It says my withholdings should be $774 for the year….Which is $62/month. Last check says I’m paying $71.

Some math isn’t mathing and I intend to figure out why.”
